Bananas, chocolate chips and cake batter. Three delicious food items combined. What more should I say? Just follow the recipe and bake it, people…
3 ripe bananas, mashed
110 gr butter
100 gr sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla or in this case, I usually have a jar of sugar infused with opened vanilla pods. The sugar is heady with the smell of vanilla.
200 gr flour, mix with
1/2 tsp baking powder
50 ml milk, mix with
1 tsp baking soda
75 gr chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Centigrade/350 F
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla on medium speed until butter turns pale. Mix in mashed banana. Fold flour mixture alternating with milk. Mix half of the chocolate chips with cake batter.
Pour into 2 loaf tin (8 x 21 cm) already spread with butter or sprayed with vegetable spray. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top of the batter. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
Go on. Have it with coffee (brew Papua Wamena Arabica coffee, pour in milk and a little sugar) or tea. Relax and enjoy the breeze.
